I have to say DJ'ing mitzvah parties is one of my most favorite things to do! The energy of the kids and adults combined make for a blast of a party!
Working with you and your soon-to-be mitzvah we can put together a party unlike the previous ones you've been to. This doesn't mean that it has to be over the top, but we make it unique to you and your family! Have a theme? We can incorporate it into the games, the music, the candle lighting ceremony and more. Need help figuring it all out? That's why I'm here. We work together to pick song choices, choose games, discuss give-a-ways and prizes, and special requests you might have.
The thing to remember, too, is that this function isn't just for the kids, but for adults, too! There are plenty of ways to get both the kids and adults to enjoy the day. Scheduling with the caterer or banquet manager my assistant (most often Mike) and I work to make sure everyone is taken care of. Who says the kids and adults don't listen and dance to the same music? Not us!
Other things to consider are dancers, novelties, video shows, and more. I can help you choose the right ones and point you in the right direction to find what you're looking for!
To help plan your function I have put together a Mitzvah Party Planner Worksheet. This is the base we work off. It can be found here:
“Mark, you received so many compliments from our guests, who were amazed at how busy and active you were able to keep the kids! Everyone thought you did a terrific job. We especially appreciated your honoring our request to have a quiet period during the dinner hour so that people could easily carry on a conversation. We loved having a little time to dance at the end. Overall we knew we wanted a kid-focused party and our son and his friends raved about all the fun that they had! Thank you for a most wonderful job -- well done!! It was a pleasure working with you!”
